KARACHI: Home side Karachi Kings and leaders Multan Sultans on Saturday, held a full-strength training session at the National Bank Stadium here ahead of their Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 clash.
The two teams will lock horns on Sunday at the iconic National Bank Stadium here.
Notably, Multan Sultans are at the summit of the PSL 9 standings with 10 points in six matches while Karachi Kings are fifth with four points in five matches.
The players from both teams partook in several batting, bowling and fielding drills to boast their preparations for Sunday’s all-important bout.
A victory would lift the Kings to the top four while the Sultans will be eyeing their sixth triumph to consolidate their grip at the top.
Kings’ fast bowler Hasan Ali interacted with the media on the sidelines of the training session and reflected on his team’s performance in the tournament.

The right-arm pacer also expressed optimism about his side making a comeback in the tournament with a victory over Multan Sultans.
“We played good cricket overall. Although we lost two matches, those were close matches and it is positive that we fought hard in those games,” said the fast bowler.
“Multan Sultans is a good team and they are on the top of the table. But, our team is motivated and we are looking forward to defeating them tomorrow,” he added.
