LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight Qualifier will go ahead here at Gaddafi Stadium ‘as scheduled’.
Following a tense security situation in the city due to clashes between the workers of a mainstream political party and law enforcement agencies on Tuesday, uncertainty surrounded the fate of the remaining PSL matches.
However, PCB has now confirmed that today’s PSL qualifier between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultan will be played as per its schedule.
“The #HBLPSL8 Qualifier in Lahore today will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium as scheduled.” PCB tweeted.
