PSL 7 opening ceremony will take place under strict COVID-19 protocols

KARACHI: The opening ceremony of the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is likely to be held as per the COVID-19 protocols and safety guidelines.

As per the sources, the opening ceremony of the mega event will be held as per the COVID-19 protocols, while PCB has also decided not to incur extra expenses at the opening ceremony. The administration will issue a statement by January 20.

Whereas, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s entire focus is on fans engagement and surprising the fans, while the atmosphere around Karachi’s National Stadium will be festive.

Children’s playgrounds and other facilities will be available at Fans Park. Sources also claim that the upcoming seventh edition of PSL will be the first to include new elements.
