The uncertainty surrounding the remaining matches of PSL 10 may soon be addressed, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started initial groundwork to finalise the schedule, but a concrete timeline is yet to be confirmed.
According to ARY News, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Super League, Salman Naseer, has reached out to franchise representatives to gather updates on the current whereabouts and availability of their players.
The board’s priority, for now, is to assess the logistics and ensure that all key players can be part of the competition’s resumption.
Franchise sources have revealed that Naseer has formally requested all six PSL teams to submit updated player status reports.
This step is seen as crucial in chalking out the plan for the tournament’s remaining fixtures, which were earlier postponed due to escalating cross-border tensions between Pakistan and India.
While tensions have eased following a ceasefire on Saturday, and the PCB is actively working behind the scenes, the revised schedule of the PSL 10 has not yet been released.
A final decision is expected once full reports from all teams are in hand.
Sources also indicate that the remaining eight matches will be scheduled with international series windows in mind to avoid any further clashes.
Once a viable timeline is created, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will give the final approval.
