LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators have won the toss and opted to bat first against Lahore Qalandars in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 here at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Gladiators skipper Saud Shakeel expressed his thoughts before the final, deeming the rest as crucial.
“The rest has been good for us. We want to post a good target against this quality bowling line-up. My message to my teammates is that it’s just a match, don’t take any added pressure, and keep as calm as possible.
Mohammad Wasim is slightly unfit and will miss out, Khurram Shahzad comes back in the team in his place,” he said.
While Qalandars’ captain Shaheen Afridi shed light on the XI while praising the Lahore crowd for the support in the past.
“Boys have been performing well and are focused on putting up their best effort. Everyone is mature and have played international cricket, coming with heaps of domestic experience as well, and know what is expected from them in this big game.
There is one change. Sikandar Raza is back. Lahore’s crowd has always supported us, and we look forward to their support tonight,” Shaheen said.
Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators have faced each other 19 times since the PSL began. Lahore has a slight edge with 10 wins, while Quetta managed to secure 9 victories.
