KARACHI: President of Karachi Kings Wasim Akram arrived in Karachi on Monday as the team braces for yet another exciting season of the Pakistan Super League.
Akram, popularly known as “Sultan of Swing”, joined the Karachi Kings’ squad and coaching staff at a local hotel in the city for PSL season 8.
The eighth edition of Pakistan’s marquee league is all set to kick off with a grand opening ceremony today in Multan followed by the inaugural match between defending champion Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.
2020 PSL Champions Karachi Kings will play their first match of this season against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi at National Bank Cricket Arena on Tuesday.
The most-followed franchise of PSL, Karachi Kings, set up their training camp in the home city where they will play their first five matches of the season before flying out to Lahore and Rawalpindi for the second leg of the tournament.
