Lahore: Pakistan’s bowling consultant for the T20 World Cup Vernon Philander is confident that Green Shirts will produce some magic as they leave for UAE to play the mega event.
The 36-year-old posted a heartfelt tweet where he thanked Pakistanis for their hospitality and he is hoping to come back soon.
“Massive thank you to everyone over here in Pakistan for your incredible hospitality and the way you guys have received me. I have really enjoyed my time here and hope to be back real soon,” Philander posted on his social platforms.
“Lets go and do some magic at the T20 World Cup,” he concluded.
It must be noted that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja, in his first press- conference, announced the appointments of Philander and Matthew Hayden as bowling and batting consultants respectively.
Philander arrived last week and was part of the national team’s camp in Lahore. Hayden will join the side in UAE.
