LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the City Cricket Association (CCA) Trials across the country will kick off on May 25.
According to the details, the open CCA trials ahead of the two-day tournaments will be held across the country and the head of all cricket associations, along with the first-class cricketers will supervise the young talent.
The top performers of these trials will then be included in the teams of City Cricket Associations, where they will also be eligible to represent their cricket association in the upcoming domestic season based on their good performance.
Earlier, the PCB also announced to kick off the City Cricket Association U19 Tournament from May 21 and announced 93 squads of the six cricket associations – Balochistan, Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern, Sindh, and Southern Punjab – in a press release.
The announced squads will then compete in a 50-over tournament which will lay the way for the top performers to participate in the divisional tournament and PCB U19 three-day and one-day tournaments.
Furthermore, the top performers of the tournaments will also get a chance to feature in the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Junior League (PJL), scheduled from October 1 to 15 in Lahore.
