Shan converts his maiden century into double ton in County cricket

DERBY: Pakistan’s left-handed opener Shan Masood, who is representing Derbyshire in the ongoing County Championship has successfully converted his maiden century into a double century in the county cricket, here on Thursday.

In his side’s fixture against Sussex in Division Two of the ongoing county championship, Shan carried his wonderful form and scored his first century, which he later converted into a double.

The left-handed batter scored an unbeaten 201 runs off 271 deliveries with the help of 22 boundaries helping his side finish on 327/2 at the conclusion of the opening day.

The 32-years-old batter got to his century in the 41st over of the first innings; conceding just 121 balls to reach the triple-figure mark.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that Shan scored 91 and 62 respectively in his debut county cricket match against Middlesex.
