Pakistan women’s cricket team to tour Australia next year in January

LAHORE: Pakistan National Women’s Cricket Team will tour Australia for a three-match each ODI and T20I series, scheduled in January 2023.

The Green Shirts’ important tour to Australia will embark with a three-match ODI series against the reigning World Champions.

The ODIs, which will be a part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship, will take place on January 16, 18, and 21, with the first two games taking place in Brisbane. The Green Shirts will next head to Sydney for the third ODI.

The T20I series, on the other hand, will also kick start in Sydney as the two teams will come face to face in the first match on January 24. The remaining two T20Is, on the other hand, will be contested in Canberra on January 27 and 29.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan is currently hosting Sri Lanka for as many T20Is and ODIs. The Green Shirts have whitewashed the touring side 3-0 in the T20Is, whereas, the ODI series will roll into action on June 1 at Southend Club, Karachi.
