Pakistan women’s team starts training for home series against Sri Lanka

KARACHI: Pakistan women’s national cricket team started their preparations for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka as the 10-day long training camp kicked off here on Monday.

In the first training session of the team, the players participated in physical training and fielding drills.

The 26-players training camp will also feature three 50-overs matches on May 11, 14, and 17 and two practice T20 matches on May 12 and 15 for scenario-based training.

The players will also participate in the net and fielding sessions for the remaining days and will rest on May 13 and 16.

It is apropos to mention here that Sri Lanka women will lock horns with the home side Pakistan in a three-match each ODI and T20I series from May 24 to June 05.
