Pakistan win toss, bat first against Bangladesh in first T20I

Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha, after winning the toss, shared the rationale behind the decision.

“We are going to try to score above par,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh skipper Litton Das expressed joy at bowling first while deeming it an opportunity for youngsters.

“We would have bowled first if we had won the toss,” he says from the middle of the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

“We back the new players. It’s a good opportunity for them,” he added.
