Pakistan win toss against Afghanistan in tri-series final

SHARJAH: Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bat first against Afghanistan in the final of the tri-series here at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

In the opening match of the tri-series, Pakistan comprehensively defeated Afghanistan by 39 runs, primarily due to a powerful batting display.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan made a strong comeback in their second outing, defeating the Green Shirts by 19 runs, courtesy of a strong bowling performance.
