‘Pakistan will beat India again in Melbourne’ Shoaib Akhtar

KARACHI: Former Pakistan’s fast bowler – Shoaib Akhtar termed the green shirts favourite to win against India in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, scheduled in October.

According to the Indian media, the 46-years-old made his prediction for the most followed clash in cricket, said Pakistan will beat India again in Melbourne.

“We will beat India again in Melbourne. Pakistan is a better side than India in T20 Cricket,” he said.

Shoaib also criticized Indian media, stated that the media creates unnecessary pressure for the face-off.

“It’s the Indian media that make unnecessary pressure on their team whenever we have the clash of both countries in cricket, it’s normal for India to lose,” Shoaib added.

It is worth mentioning here that the two arch-rivals India and Pakistan will come face to face on October 23 in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup. Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the most-followed clash.
