LAHORE: Pakistan’s home ODI series against the West Indies has been shifted to Multan following the possible political instability in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed.
In an official statement released by the PCB, the cricket board confirmed that the three ODIs, which are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League will be played on the previously announced dates i.e. 8, 10 and 12 June, with the matches starting at 4 PM PKT time.
The squad will participate in the training camp ahead of the series here from June 1-4 before travelling to Multan on June 5.
Pakistan’s right-arm speedster Haris Rauf and the leg-spinner Shadab Khan, who are currently playing county cricket in the United Kingdom will land in the country on June 1 and will join the training camp on the next day.
The West Indian side, on the other hand, will arrive in Islamabad on June 6 via a chartered flight.
