TRINIDAD: Sajid Khan scalped four wickets as Pakistan bowled out West Indies in the first innings on day two of the second Test at the Queen’s Park Oval on Monday.
The hosts were bowled out after piling up 344 in 105.4 overs.
Justin Greaves top-scored with 73 off 150 balls, striking nine fours, while skipper Roston Chase ably supported him with a gritty 70 off 126, including 11 fours.
West Indies continued from an overnight score of 239- 5 with Greaves and Chase adding 20 more runs to the total.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam decided to bowl with part-timer Salman Ali Agha before the new ball was taken.
Soon after, Ali Usman provided the much-needed breakthrough with the new ball, breaking a 96-run stand in the 82nd over of the match.
Greaves played a rash shot and was caught by Awais Zafar at the point. Despite his departure, Chase held firm and stretched the West Indies’ total beyond the 300-run mark. The skipper added a crucial 35-run partnership with Kemar Roach, who scored 19, after receiving a lifeline.

Roach was pinned LBW by Usman, and replay later showed all three reds. However, Babar chose not to review the on-field decision in the 86th, with the West Indies on 277-6
The scorecard read 304 when Ubaid Shah bowled Chase with a beautiful length delivery and rattled his stumps.
The visitors took wickets at regular intervals, but the home side well ahead with their total nearing the 350-run mark on a tricky surface.
Sajid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan, taking four for 85 in 32.4 overs, while Ubaid Shah, Mohammad Ali, and Ali Usman shared six wickets between them.
