Earlier, Pakistan bowled out England for 290 as the last pair of Gus Atkinson and Josh Tongue added 47.
Gus Atkinson hit six fours in his 45 off 46 balls, while Josh Tongue ably supported him after scoring 30 off 48 with the aid of four boundaries.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas proved his mettled and scalped four wickets while Mohammad Ali also took three.
