ISA TOWN: The Pakistan Volleyball team outclassed Kazakhstan in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Challenge Cup campaign opener here on Sunday.
In their first match of the tournament, Pakistan secured a dominant victory over Kazakhstan with scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-21.
The national team started the match on a high as they secured the first set with ease.
Pakistan banked on their momentum and continued to dominate Kazakhstan and won the second set with the same scoreline.
Kazakhstan put up some fight in the third set and came closer but Pakistan displayed utmost resilience to deny the opposition a chance to force the match into the fourth set.

Pakistan’s head coach Ruben Wolochin was elated by his team’s performance and stated that the players executed the plans to almost perfection.
“The boys played with great determination and executed the strategies perfectly,” said Wolochin.
“This win is a testament to their hard work and dedication,” he added.
For the unversed, the Pakistan Volleyball team recently whitewashed Australia in the three-match home series, that took place last month.
The home side dominated Australia in each of the three home matches and did not drop a single set.
In the third and final match of the home series, Pakistan outclassed Australia with scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20.
Prior to the home series against Australia, Pakistan were crowned the Central Asian Volleyball Champions with a dominant 3-1 victory over Turkmenistan in the final.
In the enthralling final, Pakistan emerged victorious by winning three sets while Turkmenistan managed to win only one.
The national Volleyball team secured a convincing victory with 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, and 25-14 points.
