LAHORE: Pakistan’s squad underwent COVID-19 tests before their departure to India for Junior Hockey World Cup.
The 23-member national squad was tested for COVID-19 here at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday. The team’s doctor Asad Abbas Shah supervised the testing process. The players and management will be allowed to travel after returning negative in their COVID-19 tests.
Pakistan will play their warm-up games in the mega event against Chili and Canada on November 21 and 22 respectively. The Green Shirts will play their first match in the mega event against Germany on November 24.
