LAHORE: Pakistan under-19 cricket team on Wednesday departed for the full-fledged tour of Bangladesh comprising one four-day, five 50-over matches and one T20 match from April 30 to May 17.
The 17-member U19 squad along with three reserves flew out from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport in the wee hours and will reach Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka via Dubai.
Taking to Twitter, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also shared photos of a team meeting held on Tuesday evening at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) before the departure.
The preparations for the tour were completed before the Eid holidays as Saad Baig-led Pakistan U19 underwent a training camp from April 8 to 18 at the NCA.
Over the course of their training, the players featured in various training sessions which included two practice games and one target match – held at the LCCA Ground.
