COLOMBO: Pakistan Men’s Cricket team are set to take on their arch-rivals India on August 28 as the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule of the forthcoming Asia Cup 2022.
Before taking on their arch-rivals in ICC T20 World Cup 2022, the Green Shirts will be squaring up against India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 on August 28.
The men in blue will be seeking vengeance for their humiliating 10-wicket defeat against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Whereas, Pakistan will be looking to carry their domination in rather suitable conditions of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the continental event moved from Sri Lanka due to an ongoing political turmoil in the Island.
The glittering event will feature six teams including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. Whereas, a qualifying team from the first round will make their way to the final round and join India and Pakistan in Group A. Group B, on the other hand, comprise hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
