Pakistan team reaches India for Junior Hockey World Cup

DELHI: Pakistan team reached India to participate in the upcoming Junior Hockey World Cup, scheduled to start on November 24. 

According to the details, the Pakistan team has reached here on Saturday in the afternoon and will travel to Bhuvneshwar where the tournament is scheduled to be played.

The 23-member national squad was tested for COVID-19 in Lahore on Thursday. The team’s doctor Asad Abbas Shah supervised the testing process. The players and management were allowed to travel after negative results.

Pakistan will play their warm-up games in the mega event against Chili and Canada on November 21 and 22 respectively. The Green Shirts will play their first match in the mega event against Germany on November 24.
