DUBAI: Pakistani bowlers did well for their team as they managed to beat Afghanistan by four wickets in the first match of U19 Asia Cup here on Thursday.
After deciding to bat first, Afghanistani batters were failed completely as Pakistani bowlers did magnificently at the office. Ahmed Khan bagged three wickets followed by Zeeshan Zameer and Awais Ali taking two wickets each while Qasim Akram and Ali Asfand shared a wicket apiece.
Nangeyalia Kharote scored the highest 15 runs from the losing side.
In reply, Pakistan batters also suffered but manage to wrap up a four-wicket victory. Maaz Sadaqat scored 14 while Haseebullah managed 11 runs.
Noor Ahmed bagged three wickets while Bilal Sami took two wickets.
