LAUDERHILL: The 15 members of the Pakistan One Day International (ODI) squad are set to leave for the West Indies for a three-match series on Monday.
The ODI series will commence on August 8 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago.
Mohammad Rizwan will captain Pakistan in the three-match ODI series, whereas the players featuring in the Pakistan T20I squad are set to return home tonight after participating in the three-match series against West Indies.
The players departing for Pakistan are Khushdil Shah, Haris Rauf, and Sahibzada Farhan. Meanwhile, injured batter Fakhar Zaman, who was also part of the ODI squad, will return tomorrow from Florida.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan clinched the series 2-1 after sealing a 13-run win in the final T20I at Central Broward Regional Park.
Chasing a daunting 190-run target, West Indies fell 13 runs short despite Sherfane Rutherford’s and Alick Athanaze’s half-centuries.
For Pakistan, it was an all-round bowling effort with each of the front-line bowlers scalping one wicket each.
