ALMATY: Pakistan concluded a historic campaign at the Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026 in Kazakhstan, earning seven medals and the prestigious title of Best Under-16 Team of Asia.

In the Under-18 Fighting System (-85kg) category, Ebad ur Rehman displayed exceptional determination and technical excellence to defeat his Indian opponent and secure the Bronze Medal for Pakistan.

Pakistan also delivered an impressive performance in the Under-21 Duo Show System (Men), where Umer Yaseen and Ebad ur Rehman earned two Silver Medals, adding to the country’s remarkable medal tally.

Pakistan completed the championship with an outstanding overall performance — 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 2 Bronze Medals

The achievement marks one of Pakistan’s most successful campaigns in the history of the Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship.

Chairman of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation, Khalil Ahmed, congratulated the national contingent for their outstanding performance.

“This historic success is the outcome of years of dedication, strategic planning, and the unwavering commitment of our athletes, coaches, and officials. Winning seven medals and being crowned the Best Under-16 Team of Asia is a proud moment for Pakistan and another milestone in the development of Ju-Jitsu in our country,” he said.

Secretary General of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation and Team Leader, Tariq Ali, also hailed the performance of the national team.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to every athlete, coach, official, and supporter who contributed to this remarkable achievement,” he said.

“Finishing the championship with two Gold, three Silver, and two bronze medals demonstrates the growing strength of Pakistan Ju-Jitsu. These results inspire us to work even harder as we prepare for future Asian and World Championships.”
