
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan men’s team have commenced their preparations for the forthcoming tour of West Indies with a pre-series training camp at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The series, which forms part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle, will begin at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to 29, while the second Test is scheduled at Queen’s Park Oval from August 2 to 6.
The national team members trained for three hours under the coaching staff’s supervision, with players fine-tuning their skills.

Red-ball head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed, batting coach Asad Shafiq, and bowling coach Umar Gul supervised the session, with captain Babar Azam and the team also taking part in a detailed nets practice on the wickets.
As part of their preparations, Pakistan will play a two-day intra-squad scenario match on Friday and Saturday before departing for the Caribbean.
Pakistan are scheduled to depart for the West Indies on July 13 and will play a four-day warm-up fixture from July 18 as part of their preparations.
