Pakistan opt to bat first with Sarfaraz, Hamza back in Playing XI

KARACHI: Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first in the opening Test against New Zealand, here at National Bank Cricket Arena on Monday.

Pakistan has made three changes to the playing Xi they last played against England as Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mir Hamza and Imam-ul-Haq have returned to the team.

Former captain Sarfaraz has made his comeback to the Test side after four years while Hamza played his only Test against Australia in 2018.
