DUBAI: Pakistan Men’s National Cricket Team have dethroned India from the fourth position in the International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI Rankings following their clean sweep victory over the West Indies in the recently concluded series.
The Green Shirts, who were placed fifth in the rankings, jumped a spot to surpass India for the fourth position after the series triumph over the West Indies in Multan.
Pakistan were ranked fifth with 102 rating points before the commencement of the home ODI series, however, the clean sweep victory over the West Indies has bolstered them to the fourth position with 106 points, leaving behind India with 105 at the fifth.
In the 50-over format, Pakistan has enjoyed a cherishing couple of years. With the exception of a setback against England away from home, they have faced and beaten all comers, including 2-1 series victories over Zimbabwe and South Africa.
The Green Shirts produced the same results in their historic home series against Australia in April, 2022.
