Pakistan beat Canada in practice penalty shootout session

BHUBANESWAR: Pakistan defeated Canada by 4-2 in a practice Penalty Shootouts session in Junior Hockey World Cup. 

Skipper Rana Waheed, Moin Shakeel, Andul Hannan, and Ghazanfar Ali scored goals for the junior team.

Remember, the Pakistan team reached here on November 20. The 23-member national squad was tested for COVID-19 in Lahore on Thursday. The team’s doctor Asad Abbas Shah supervised the testing process. The players and management were allowed to travel after negative results.

Pakistan will play their warm-up games in the mega event against Chili and Canada on November 21 and 22 respectively. The Green Shirts will play their first match in the mega event against Germany on November 24.
