MULTAN: Ahead of their first match of the Pakistan Super League season 8, Quetta Gladiators strengthened their squad as star opener Jason Roy, all-rounder Odean Smith and spinner Qais Ahmad joined the team in Multan on Wednesday.
According to the details, the three overseas picks of the 2019 PSL champions reached Multan where the side will kick off their PSL season 8 campaign today as they face home team Multan Sultans.

Meanwhile, top-ranked Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will join the Galdirators’ squad in a few days. Also, the legendary West Indies cricketer Sir Vivian Richard, who serves as a team mentor for Gladiators, will join the side later in Karachi.
It may be noted here that England’s Jason Roy was retained by the Gladiators after he represented the side in the 2018, 2020 and 2022 editions of the PSL.
