NZC in talks with PCB to reschedule cancelled Pakistan tour: NZ’s media

KARACHI: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has contacted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for rescheduling last month’s cancelled tour of Pakistan before 2023, NZ’s media reported.

NZ Herald reported that NZC’s CEO David White has approached his interim counterpart Salman Naseer to talk about rescheduling the series.

On Thursday [7 October], PCB’s chairman Ramiz Raja had shared that NZC is interested in rescheduling their cancelled tour to Pakistan. He indicated possible good news for fans in the country related to New Zealand’s tour to Pakistan.

“Good news will be announced within a week,” he was quoted saying. “The PCB may put forward its terms before the NZC by choosing the month of November in 2022 for the rescheduling of the recently postponed series,” he further said.
