Nida storms into the top 10 of the ICC T20I Women’s Bowling Rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan right-arm spinner Nida Dar made a big gain in the ICC T20I Women’s Bowling Rankings as she stormed into the top 10 of the rankings following her brilliant performance against Sri Lanka in the T20I series.

Nida, who claimed two wickets with a splendid economy of 3.8 in the recently concluded T20I series against Sri Lanka, has now claimed the 10th rank after climbing up four spots.

Nida also made an impact in the latest ICC T20I Women’s All-Rounders Rankings as she leapt two places to claim the seventh rank.

The left-arm spinner Anam Amin, on the other hand, also surged in the rankings as she climbed two places up to claim the fourth rank. Anam took four wickets for just 61 runs in 12 overs in a three-match series against Sri Lanka, which propelled her to claim the fourth position in the bowling rankings.

Pakistan’s young leg-spinner Tuba Hassan, who enjoyed a delightful start to her international career; claiming five wickets overall in the series including splendid bowling figures of 3/8, has shot right up to No.102 in the bowlers’ ranking.
