KARACHI: Domestic performer Tabish Khan was given chance in Pakistan’s Test team this year after a lot of voices emerged in his support across the country.
The 26-years-old cricketer had 599 wickets in his First-Class account before playing his first Test against Zimbabwe in April this year. The lad took a wicket in his first international over, unfortunately, couldn’t manage to take more in the match.
Following plenty of performances at the domestic level, people expected a few more chances for the right-arm pacer but the national team’s selectors had some different plans. Tabish was dropped from the Test squad which was announced today for the West Indies tour.
The sudden exclusion of Tabish raised many questions which were posted on social media by Pakistan cricket followers.
