Pakistan women’s cricketers Nida Dar and Muneeba Ali achieved career-high numbers in the ICC T20I players’ rankings following their record-breaking performances in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
Although Pakistan fail to progress into the semifinal stage of the tournament, Dar and Muneeba made record feats during the event.
Muneeba scored 102 not out against Ireland on February 15 to become the first T20I centurion of Pakistan while Dar levelled with West Inides’ Anisa Mohammad as the joint-leading wicket-taker in T20 internationals.
In the latest rankings updates by the ICC, Muneeba jumped 10 places to a career-best 64th position on the T20I batters’ list.
Veteran Dar also moved two places on the all-rounders’ list to reach a new career-high mark.
It may be noted here that Dar has an opportunity to breach the 125 wickets mark and go past Anisa when Pakistan face England in their last match of the T20 megaevent today.
