DHAKA: Pakistani skipper Babar Azam said his team has moved on from T20 World Cup 2021’s semi-final defeat and focused on the T20I series against Bangladesh.
“As a team, we have moved on from what happened in T20 World Cup. Our focus now is to give our best against Bangladesh in T20Is,” Babar told media in a pre-series presser.
“We picked up good points from our T20 World Cup performance and worked on our weaknesses. I am confident that the whole team is focused on this new challenge,” he added.
Babar said the reason behind continuing with main players is to give them confidence. “These players performed really well in the T20 World Cup. We are continuing with them to give them all the confidence moving forward. Our bench strength is the backbone and we will try them whenever needed,” he maintained.
