LAHORE: Mohsin Naqvi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Monday revealed that the ongoing upgradation work at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium will be completed by January 25.
He confirmed that a grand inauguration is scheduled for January 27, promising an event filled with excitement and the presence of prominent personalities.
During his visit to Gaddafi Stadium earlier today, Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress of development work and expressed satisfaction with the efforts being made.
Naqvi also emphasized the importance of this project, calling it a step forward in enhancing Pakistan’s cricketing infrastructure.
“I am pleased with the progress made so far, and I am confident that the stadium will be ready with state-of-the-art facilities well ahead of the Champions Trophy,” Naqvi remarked.
The chairman engaged personally with the workers on-site, praising them for their dedication and hard work.
He then directed the team to sustain their current momentum, emphasizing the importance of completing the project within the established timeline to ensure success.
