KARACHI: Pakistan’s young pacer – Mohammad Hasnain will undergo a test on his bowling action after it was reported by the umpires in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).
The 21-years-old will undergo the bowling action test in the ICC-accredited biomechanics laboratory in Lahore, on Tuesday.
In his last match against the Sydney Sixers’ skipper – Moises Henriques was heard on the stump mic saying ‘nice throw mate’ after Pakistan’s speedster bowled a bouncer to him.
Hasnain played five matches for the BBL franchise – Sydney Thunder and had a dream debut; bowling a three wickets maiden over.
Before returning to Pakistan for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Hasnain took seven wickets with a strike rate of 15.7 and an astonishing economy rate of six.
Thunder’s head coach Trevor Bayliss also lauded the brilliance of the right-arm pacer and stated that his inclusion ‘brought the pace’ into the side.
