Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain feels optimistic about securing a place in the upcoming Asia Cup, driven by his performances in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, which kicks off on April 11.
In a recent interview with a private TV channel, Hasnain expressed his determination to perform at his best during the marquee event and make a mark for the selection of the national team for the Asia Cup.
“My goal in the league is to perform my best and make a place in the team for the Asia Cup,” he mentioned.
The 25-year-old pacer expressed his excitement for the landmark edition of PSL, noting the positive preparations in the tournament’s lead-up.
“I am excited for PSL, and the preparations for the event have been quite good,” said Hasnain.
“I had good training in Multan for four days, and now I am in Karachi,” he added.
Mohammad Hasnain, who will be representing Multan Sultans this season, remained positive about the team’s preparations amid intense preparations.
“I hope that with such a good team and preparation, the result will be just as good,” he stated.
The Hyderabad-born fast bowler highlighted the importance of PSL for both emerging and experienced players.
“PSL is a great platform for young players, I also came through this league,” said Hasnain.
“Senior players can also make a comeback by performing well, in this league,” he remarked.
Mohammad Hasnain emphasized the competitive nature of PSL 10, considering it an opportunity to showcase his skills.
He also recalled the electric atmosphere in Karachi, acknowledging the city’s passion for cricket.
“Many people follow PSL, and I hope this edition will also feature good cricket,” said the right-arm pacer.
“I have played matches in Karachi where the crowd was great, and we won. People come to watch matches in Karachi,” he recalled.
