LAHORE: Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has suffered an injury that may keep him out of the historic ODI series against Pakistan, which will roll into action tomorrow.
Marsh, who suffered a hip flexor injury during the training for the upcoming white-ball series against Pakistan, is now doubtful to represent the touring side.
Australia’s emerging all-rounder Cameron Green is likely to replace Marsh for the historic series.
On the other hand, Australian captain Aaron Finch also confirmed that Marsh has sustained an injury and is likely to miss the white-ball series.
“Mitch Marsh has sustained a hip flexor injury. I don’t think he will be available for the series,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the white-ball series between Australia and Pakistan comprises three ODIs and one-of-T20I will roll into action tomorrow.
