MELBOURNE: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will miss Pakistan tour in March-April this year due to his wedding, reports confirmed.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Maxwell has confirmed his unavailability for the Pakistan tour due to his marriage in late March. Reports further disclose that the right-handed explosive batter is also likely to miss the start of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
Australia will be touring Pakistan after 24 years to play three Tests, as many ODIs and one-off T20I. The Aussies will first play three Tests in Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Lahore, respectively. They have announced a full-strength squad for the Test series.
As per reports, David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Pat Cummins, Marcus Stoinis, Josh Hazlewood, Matthew Wade and Daniel Sams will also miss the start of IPL 2022 due to national duty in Pakistan.
