‘Let Babar know he’d look good in green’ Melbourne Stars

MELBOURNE: Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Melbourne Stars requested the Pakistan pacer, Haris Rauf, to let the top-ranked white-ball batter Babar Azam know he would look good in green.

Following Pakistan’s series win over Australia, the official handle of the BBL posted a question along with the picture of Pakistan skipper Babar and his Australian counterpart Aaron Finch.

“Which Pakistani would you love to see in the Big Bash?” tweeted BBL.

The tweet went almost went viral immediately, with followers flocking to offer their opinions.

BBL Franchise Stars, on the other hand, also took the opportunity and requested the right-arm speedster Haris to let his captain Babar know that he would look good in green.

“Hey [Haris], can you let [Babar know] he’d look good in Green?!,” the franchise wrote.

It is pertinent to mention here that Australia’s white-ball captain Finch also commented on the participation of Pakistan players in the BBL, recently in an interview and ‘said any opportunity they can fit into our competition is fantastic,’.

“Any opportunity they can fit into our competition is fantastic, and they’d always be welcome in the Big Bash League,” Finch said.

“If Babar is available then every Big Bash team will be ready to pick him,” he concluded.
