AHMEDABAD: Veteran India batter Virat Kohli finally ended his century drought in Test cricket after a gap of more than three years.
Kohli, who scored his first century since November 2019, took 241 deliveries to reach his 28th Test ton on Day four of the final Test against Australia.
With his 75th international century, the star batter led India’s fightback in the ongoing fourth Test as Australia piled up 480 in the first innings.
India have so far made 436 for the loss of five wickets after astounding centuries from young Shubman Gill and veteran Kohli.
The right-hander still holds the crease firmly, batting at 125 not-out alongside Axar Patel.
