With Jos Buttler and Bairstow at the crease, England looked on course to breach the 200-run barrier but Pakistan bowlers pulled things back with tight death bowling to restrict the hosts to a par total.

Shaheen Shah Afridi led the bowling attack for Pakistan with three wickets, followed by Imad Wasim and Haris, who bagged two each.
