KARACHI: England’s explosive batter – Jason Roy, who is set to represent Quetta Gladiators in the forthcoming seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), said it is going to be a good year for the former champions.
In a video statement, Roy, while expressing his excitement for the marquee event said, the Gladiators will witness a good year this season.
“I am going to help the Gladiators in the best way I can, It is set to be a really good year for the Quetta [Gladiators],” he said.
Roy expressed his gratitude to the supporters for their overwhelming support, as well as his excitement to be a part of the PSL and his desire to win the title.
“I am thankful for the fans for the huge amount of support I have already received and I am excited to see what’s more to come when I join up with the team,” he said.
“I am ecstatic about doing some rights and wrongs and to go and lift that trophy; helping them the best way I can,” he added.
Roy went on to laud the management and the setup for the upcoming PSL 7.
