ROTTERDAM: International Cricket Council (ICC) General Manager Wasim Khan reminisced his experience of working for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and expressed his joy over the restoration of international cricket in the country.
Talking to ARY News reporter here on Tuesday during the first ODI between Pakistan and Netherlands, former Chief Executive Officer of PCB, Wasim stated that the opportunity he had been offered at the ICC was a result of his experience at the PCB.
“It’s a matter of pride to work in the ICC being a Pakistani,” he said. “The opportunity that I have today at the ICC is because of my work in the PCB”
It was an honour working for the PCB. I have a lot of delightful memories with the organization” he added.
Moreover, he also expressed best wishes for the Pakistan cricket team as it takes on the Netherlands for the three-match ODI series which is also part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
“I am here to watch Pakistan’s match. I hope that the team plays well he concluded.
