CARTAGENA: Isle of Man on Monday, registered the most unwanted record as the team bundled out for the lowest-ever total in the history of T20 Internationals.
Isle of Man, in their match against Spain, saw their batting lineup crumble as the side bundled out for just 10 runs.
Joseph Burrows top-scored for the side amid their flop show with the bat as he scored four runs off seven deliveries, while George Burrows and Luke Ward followed with two runs each to their name.
Whereas, seven of their batters perished for a duck.
Isle of Man’s dismal total of 10 is now the lowest-ever total in T20Is, dethroning Turkey’s 21 against the Czech Republic in the unwanted list.
Spain’s pacers Mohammad Kamran and Atif Mehmood played the key role in Isle of Man’s misery as they bagged eight wickets combined for just 10 runs, while Lorne Burns struck twice for naught.
In reply, Spain chased down the meagre target in just two deliveries as Awais Ahmed struck two sixes off Joseph Burrows to complete a one-sided victory for his side.
For his magnificent bowling figures of 4/6, Atif was named the player of the match.
