DUBAI: India have now become the only T20I team that failed to hit a boundary in between 10 overs in the shorter format of the game.
In their T20 World Cup contest against New Zealand on Sunday, the Indian batting line failed completely. No boundary was scored by Indian batsmen between over 7-17.
It was the first time such a thing happened in T20I history. India set this record amid their poor form started in the T20 World Cup after losing to arch-rivals Pakistan by 10 wickets in their first match.
With another defeat in the mega event, India are fifth in Group 2 with no win so far. They will now face Afghanistan in their third match on November 3.
