LAHORE: The Bridge Federation of India (BFI) on Monday, confirmed their participation in the upcoming BFAME Championship 2023, scheduled to commence in Lahore on May 5.
According to the details, the 30-member Indian contingent will arrive here on the very same day before the start of the event, which will run until May 13.
Teams from India, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, and Bangladesh will be competing in the event, poised to be held at Lahore Gymkhana.
Pakistan has previously hosted BFAME Championships in 2007 and 1985.
The finalist teams will book their place in the World Championship, to be held later this year.
Pakistan Bridge Federation President Mubasher Lucman said, “We are happy to host teams from India, Palestine, and the Middle East to Pakistan for the auspicious BFAME Championship.”
