The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed an eight-year ban on USA off-spinner B Akhilesh Reddy after he was found guilty of multiple violations of the governing body’s anti-corruption code linked to the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament.
The 26-year-old was charged in connection with the 2025 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10, a tournament for which the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) had appointed the ICC as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO).
Reddy, who represented Aspin Stallions during the competition and featured in two matches, was provisionally suspended in November 2025 while investigations into alleged corrupt activities were underway.
Following a hearing, the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Tribunal found the USA international guilty of the following offences under the Code:
Article 2.1.1: Attempting to fix, contrive or otherwise influence improperly, or being party to an agreement or effort to fix or contrive in any way or otherwise influence improperly, the result, progress, conduct or other aspect of matches in the ADT10 2025.

Article 2.1.4: soliciting, inducing, enticing, instructing, persuading, encouraging or intentionally facilitating (or attempting to do the former) another Participant to breach Article 2.1.1 of the Code in one or more Matches in the ADT10 2025.
Article 2.4.7: Obstructing the DACO’s investigation through deletion of data and messages from a mobile device which may have been relevant to the DACO’s investigation.
As a result, the off-spinner has been banned from all cricket-related activities for eight years. The sanction has been backdated to November 21, 2025, the date on which his provisional suspension came into effect.
Reddy made his international debut for the United States in April 2025 and went on to play four T20 Internationals for the national side.
