‘I practice hitting 100 sixes a day’ Azam Khan

Karachi: Hard-hitting batsman Azam Khan, who represents the Quetta Gladiators in the PSL, says he practices hitting 100 sixes a day.
The 22-year-old Azam has been named in the Pakistan T20I squad for England and West Indies tours. He talked exclusively to ARY News where he revealed his practice regime.
“My practice is quite different. Three days of hitting while three days of maneuvering the ball. In practice, I try to hit 100 sixes in a day,” Azam said.

“If I hit 100 in nets, I’ll be able to hit 10 to 20 in a match,” he added.
Azam said that he was being criticized heavily a year ago, however, now he has been praised for his batting.
“I was criticized a lot a year ago but when an individual works hard, people are bound to praise. I feel motivated now and try to meet the expectations of the fans,” he added.
